Paul S. Soule
Paul is an ‘almost native’ Miamian, moving here with his family in early 1941. He attended Miami schools, including the University of Miami, before entering the USAF, where he severed on active duty as a pilot for eight years, followed by an additional eight years as a pilot in the USAF Reserves, completing his Air Force flying as Wing chief of Standardization for the 403rd Troop carrier wing, flying C-130’s. His military experience includes flying as an operational test pilot in B-25’s, SAC Tanker pilot, Forward Air Controller, and troop carrier experience in the C-119 as well as the C-130. He logged over 7000 hours of military flight time.
After release from active duty, Paul entered the Life insurance business, and continues in the financial services field today, specializing in wealth management, tax and pension consulting and estate planning. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant, and earned a Masters Degree in Financial Services.
Never giving up his love of flying, he instructed in Military Aero Clubs during his active duty career, and pursed his avocation with aviation consulting and buying and selling aircraft as a ‘hobby’ business. He has amassed a total of over 18,000 hours flying time, and is a proud recipient of the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. He currently fly’s his Cessna 310 and Cessna 421 for business and pleasure, and continues to teach and transition pilots in multi engine aircraft.
